When I saw part one I was disappointed. Then I saw this one and couldn't wait for the third part. This movie was too good that it is still a great movie to see. I finally saw part 3 and that one disappointed me as well. The ending sucked the story was not too bright and they even forgot to show some characters they left in part 2. These movies would of been better of with out the third part.

The first X-Men movie was good enough to have me watch the sequel, and I did not regret my decision. X2 was a great movie. Spectacular images, more character development, some decent acting performances (Cox and McKellen, esp.), and an over 2 hours that goes by really quickly. As opposed to the usual X-Men story, the bad guy here is a human (Striker). But a very well organized one, and who in the end poses a significant threat to the mutantkind. This Striker character was quite interesting and nicely played by Brian Cox. The scene where Magneto escapes from his plastic prison will be remembered. I know people that dont like superhero movies but who know and loved that scene. The whole X-Men trilogy is worth watching, and even more than once. And this one is the best of the three.

After reading some very positive reviews regarding this movie from my friends and this site, I was eager to check it out myself. Well...I must say I really liked it, and it was definitely worthy of the time and money. However, I also belived that it could've been even better. The storyline was smooth, I found absolutely no little bugs anywhere. The visuals are similarly impressive. Wow! The X-men really gave us everything they have. The display of super power is spectacular! I especially liked NightCrawler and Pyro's abilities. All right...now a few complains. Somehow,the idea of mutants in this film seems a little fake. That just don't really appeal to me. Moreover, the actions was a little bit pushed and it could've been more intense. The only fighting part that got me out of my seat is the battle between Worverine and...what's the name of that other woman with those crazy claws? In any case, these are minor problems, I won't make a big deal out of them. To wrap it up...X2 is truly X-cellent. It deserves to be one of the best movies out there. I would recommend it to everyone.

Superman, Spiderman, and X-men2...plain and simple. They took the script from my favorite X-men graphic novel *God Loves, Man Kills* adapted it slightly, and made it into an awesome movie. Lots of fun to watch...good features on the DVD, a purely visceral fun-fest that shouldn't be missed.

Exceptional sequel to the superb 2000 comic book adaptation. Wolverine (Jackman, as rabid as ever) returns to the mansion, after finding nothing at Alkali Lake, just as a mutant-hating military general (Cox) begins his assault on the mutant world. Meanwhile, Storm (Berry) and Jean Grey (Janssen) search for a mysterious mutant (Cumming) who attempted an assassination on the president. Actually an improvement over the terrific original, everything in this film is bigger and better. The story is intriguing, continuing on the basic path while sprouting interesting ideas, the characters are colourful and well-acted, and the special effects are much improved. Jackman (as before), McKellen, Janssen, and Stanford, as a young mutant, stand out especially in a fantastic ensemble. The opening sequence, featuring the attack on the president, is not to be missed. In fact, there are several scenes that are mind-blowing. A superior sequel, an excellent comic book adaptation, and a intriguing movie all rolled into one.
